Bulbs can be ordered any time of year. Export orders
for the Northern Hemisphere need to be placed before mid-April to ensure a full
selection of varieties, as these need to be conditioned before shipping to
ensure reliable sprouting in their first Northern Hemisphere summer. Order your
bulbs now, as some varieties sell out quickly. Our bulbs are dug in May and June,
then orders are sent out in June or July. Please note we are not exporting bulbs this year (2006).
New Zealand orders received after May 31st 2006 will be held over until 2007.
Northern Hemisphere orders received after June and New Zealand orders received
after October are held over and filled from bulbs freshly dug the following
April.
Bulbs sent to the Northern Hemisphere should flower the same summer as they are planted. Sometimes however, the change in seasons means they remain dormant until the next spring.
