KEY TO OUR CATALOGUE
1m -approximate height if grown in the open, lilies will grow taller in the shade. Orientals tend to grow taller as the bulb grows larger and the flower heads bigger.
week -Indicates the week that flowering of that variety usually starts here in Golden Bay, where week 1= 1st week in November.
u.-up facing flowers.
o.-out-facing flowers.
p.-shorter varieties bred for growing in pots.
ASIATIC-generally non-scented, flowering early.
LA (LONGIFLORUM /ASIATIC) HYBRID – large flowered, vigorous, disease resistant hybrids. Some have a delicate perfume.
ORIENTALS (AURATUMS) -strongly perfumed. Late flowering.
TRUMPETS – strongly perfumed. Mid-flowering.
